I am here browsing a subreddit; but it’s not just any subreddit- because this, right here, is the Okay Buddy Retard subreddit. Now, I know what you’re thinking: Tom, of course that’s [r/OkBuddyRetard](https://www.reddit.com/r/OkBuddyRetard/), it’s a popular forum for funny ironic memes. It’s the epitome of Gen Zed humor. And, you’d seem to be right— but that’s not the whole truth. [r/OkBuddyRetard](https://www.reddit.com/r/OkBuddyRetard/) is not just a subreddit for these bizarre, seemingly nonsensical ironic memes, at least, not only that; it’s actually almost completely made of a steaming pile of shit. But this post, this one right here— it was posted here just a few hours ago— is special. Because this post is actually funny. It’s original while still using the iconic style of humor that OKBR is known for. It doesn’t use another format; it’s creative. And that, that right there, is an incredibly rare sight. But you know what’s going to happen. People are going to copy this post, and another one will pop up, and another, all using the same “clever” idea of a choose your own adventure story. Which is really the point here— that nothing stays funny forever. Memes will continue to be reused until they are beyond dead, because nearly everyone on this subreddit is an unoriginal twit. And that is something you probably already knew.
